Trimmed wicks make the flame look clean and bright. Untrimmed wicks are more likely to take on a weird mushroom-esque shape that dulls and obscures the flame.
It is always recommended that wicks are trimmed to 1/4” length prior to lighting.
Each trimmer comes in its felt pouch.
